Pass this old bunker on our way to the PX. Knew the first day on base that I had to have a picture standing on top of it. Once I got up there, of course, I had to stick my head inside to see what was doen the ladder. The second I get the upper half of my body in the little door, the biggest bird I have ever seen in Iraq flies RIGHT at my head....almost slid all the way back down to the ground.....life still makes me laugh!
